How bad are Community College courses looked down on while reviewing your application. Where I live there are no Major Colleges. So I had to take Community College Courses in Science, while taking Classes from a College in Education (My Major) Online....27 hours in one semester....

As long as you did well in them you are fine. I took a prereq for UCLA at CC and they had no problam.

But, be careful of the schools that DO NOT accept any pre-reqs from a CC (ex. Tufts). So apply to schools that are ok with CC courses and you should be fine.

Marquette and UConn are the same thing as Tufts. They don't want to hear it! During my interviews they both questioned me as to why I took Pre-Calculus at a community college. (It was my senior year in high school and the ONLY course I took at a CC. 😎 LET IT GO!!!) So yeah. Do your research and beware.
