So I'm starting to have interviews trickle in right now (really happy!) but at the same time also a bit confused on how to go about scheduling them. Do I want to schedule my top choices first so that I can interview there earlier in the cycle, or is it best to schedule my top choice after a couple of the others so I have a few under my belt before I go forward?

I did a search for this but only found lots of unrelated interview threads, so sorry if this is a repost!

Thanks so much! As a marginal candidate, I'm fighting really hard to get every advantage I can!

Congrats on the interviews! It is useful that you seem to have so much leeway (sp?) in scheduling them. Personally, I interviewed at a safety first, and that was kind of nice because I then knew what to expect. I would probably schedule your "top choices" as early as possible after your first one. That way, you're still fresh, and those schools haven't have time accept many people yet.

Keep in mind, though, that your "top choice(s)" may change throughout the next few weeks/months.

EDIT: PS, as a former marginal candidate, I know how important interviews can be. Don't over-think this stuff! Easier to say than do, but relax and be yourself. Interview days are a lot of fun.

Haha, while I'm certain my opinion of some schools will change over the next few months, I don't think my "Live at home and save $40,000" choice will be dropping off the top of my list any time soon. 😛

Thanks for the advice, too! Now I'm kinda wondering how schools will look at it if you want to change a reservation you've already RSVP'd. =\

Eh if you already RSVP'd, then I don't think you have a good reason to change it. I'm not sure where in Texas you're talking about, but I really don't think the order of your interviews will change anything for you. You might be a little nervous the first time, but it's really not bad.
