How can I check for lipping,for cvc preperations and can I fix it?thanks

Lipping on CVC.. I'm guessing you mean crown preps where you can get a little J rise on the edge of your margins? You can just run an explorer over your margin to check after really drying the tooth. I usually go over all of my margins with a scaler / spoon / enamel hachet to ensure I don't have any of these or weird jags I can't see. Only takes 20-30 seconds.
