How can I check to see if my PS is over one page in ERAS?

I am not sure how to check to make sure that when the program prints it out that it will be under 1 page. Please enlighten me. thanks.

I would say regular 10-12!

Residency programs will see your personal statement in 10-point Courier New font. Once you upload it to ERAS, you can print it and make sure everything looks okay (this is how programs will see it). 👍

I heard from someone that the way PDs see the personal statement is with 10 pt Courier font, 0.5 inch margins on top/bottom and 0.8 margins on left/right. Perhaps aPD can clarify.

does it really matter if your PS is 1 pg as opposed to 1 pg plus a few lines?
I mean, is an interviewer really going to care or decide to not read the last few lines of your PS? That just sounds kind of silly to me.

I doubt it will make a difference, but IMO it looks better if it is just one page. I hate when I only have a few lines on a page.
