Technology How can I make torrents work?

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but I installed utorrent and couldn't get it to download anything. So I uninstalled it and tried several other programs (azureus, bit torrent, etc) but for the life of me I can't get it to work 🙁 I'm in school so I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem. Can anybody help me please?

Read the help file about opening up ports in your router/firewall. Most likely that is your problem. I personally like Azureus (and the help file for router/firewall problems is very good.)
