If you meet a question which only includes some defects of the baby just like: microcephaly, cleft lip/palate, holoprosencephaly, mental ******ation and congenital heart disease.

How can tell it's Patau's syn or fetal alcohol syn?

Thanks

You wont get a question that vague.. but some other big ones for patau's are overlapping of the fingers and rocker-bottom feet (but if you have to chose between T13 and T18 for rocker bottom go with Edward's syndrome)

alternate: if the baby dies at birth.. its prob gonna push you towards pataus

I thought overlapping fingers was only in Edward?

The kid will be alive after a year with FAS. Smooth philtrum will be the buzzword.

You really shouldn't confuse the two.
