I know Temple is in Pennsylvania, and I bet Pennsylvania gets pretty cold. But just how cold does it *really* get? During the winter, do you guys have to bundle up like Innuits? How about the fall, spring, and summer times?

I have lived in Georgia all my life and dread the low 40s/high 30s temperatures we experience in the winter. Would I be shell-shocked at Temple?

I'm leaving Florida for Pennsylvania. When I think of how cold it gets there, I crap a brick.

But, it's an awesome school so it all balances out for me.

Personally, I'll be dressed like an Innuit for sure.

Brrrr up here in PA it gets cold ... build your igloo now!! ... winters dip down to 20's ... 10's if you're lucky! 😀

I live in the tri-state area and I can say that it is ridiculous here in the winter. Expect the temp to jump around the 40's to 1's (yes ones) and sometimes negative with the windchill. That usually lasts from probably late november until early april. After that its around 50 until mid may then its really nice and warm until early october. And the dreaded cycle starts again 🙁

I'd say, coming from 40 degree winters, pack a few coats and some thermals. They work great in the snow.

Hope that helped.

Pretty damn cold! 😱

So when you get there it will be hot and humid. Then from like Oct-Apr it will be cold, with the coldest being around jan and feb. Def invest in scarves, hats, gloves, winter coat, and warm socks. But it's not going to be the tundra. And for those living in the dorms, in the winter the heats make the room really dry. just a lil warning.
