I've heard that at AZCOM, the core 3/4th yr rotations are set up by the school while one 4 wk elective rotation during the 3rd yr and the 22 wk 4th yr elective rotations are set up by the students without any assistance from the school. There is no assistance in obtaining these rotations and no assistance in finding living arrangements for these elective rotations.
1) Is this how things are arranged in other schools as well?
For those of you who know the specifics (as I've listed for AZCOM) for other schools, would you let me know/share with the rest here?
2) Another question is, since many MD programs have teaching facilities, do MD students have most of their rotations at these facilities without having to look for ones on their own (even for electives)?
