How did everyone did on the OAT?

Hey guys... I wanted to you how you all think you did in your OAT's today? I did it in Miami Florida, and since it was my first time taking it I was freaking out.. (specially because of the time isssue).... but I seem to have enough time to for most section (excpet math, but i had over 75% done)....I thought the test was fair.... Hopefully we all did ok..... 🙂
Keep us post it when scores come in and to what school we all get into...

It was tight on time for RC for me...I didn't like the nat sciences at all. Does anyone know if we could cancel the scores or request them not to be sent to universities? Thanks.

I dont' like the R/C part either! I only get 2 finish a bit over half! LOL!! I'm so dead! =P... There were some mistakes in the test!! 5 bonds in Carbon, Fe2+ + 2e --> Fe2+???? Some just don't work!! -__-... but yeah..I think I could've done better! =(

Hey I took the OAT in Miami, FL today too...i thought the natural sciences was kinda hard...although I never was an orgo person. Surprisingly R/C seemed okay, of course I didn't finish Quant...when do they release the scores?

I'm sooo glad its over. I felt like it was a very fair test, no surprises. And I thought that it wasn't such a hard test. However, what made it hard was that timer 👎 . It was hard to get those problems done, especially R/C and Q/R, within that time range. I had the most trouble with Q/R. That was the only one where I straight had to fill in random bubbles cuz I only had five minutes to do like a little over 10 problems. It was kinda fustruating. But sooo glad its over. 👍

Phew! What a relief.

I too thought that QR was hard. The first RC passage wasn't difficult and didn't take me much time. However, the 2nd and 3rd weren't as easy. Physics was better than I had expected. For the National Sciences part, I got stuck on some of those synthesis questions.

Well, I felt QR and biology was harder than Kaplan or top score cd. I ran out of time on QR and had to guess on 5 questions. Few physics problems were definately harder than anything that I've seen on the practice tests. Basically I don't feel good about this test 🙁

I thought that the Biology section was pretty tough. I think I managed OK on the Reading Comp but the QRT section was another story. I just want my scores so I can see how I did. why does it take so long?

I'm with you guys on all that stuff... I struggled to finsh the RC and QRT sections and I found the bio section really random. Organic was just insane, I hate those reactions.

But hey, there's always February right? 😉

I'm still pretty new to this form but I came across this topic and just wanted to congrats everyone on completing the exam. Yea, there were certain parts that were more challenging and harder than what I saw from Kaplan. The point is, we're all done so lets just all focus on interviews or applications and relax a little!

Pharm is usually considered the hardest course just because of all the names and their different methods of action. The material it self is not so hard that you just don't get it, it is just a lot of memorization of names (I mean a lot of names!!!). I also found neroanatomy difficult, most people didn't in my class, but I struggled.

QR absolutely kicked my butt. I was expecting it to be the easiest part of the test. I didn?t prepare for it so I ended up having to guess on over half of the QR questions.

I thought that the other sections were rather easy. The nat sci section was much simpler that I had expected.

I just hope I do well enough so I won?t need to take it in February. 🙂
