Hey guys,

I'm just a little confused about how you all bought your MCAT prep books. I've been trying to buy the books required for the 3 month study guide in the marketplace on these forums, but so many people are only doing transactions through paypal.

Most of the sellers all have a mere one post, how did you guys do safe transactions/make sure you weren't going to get scammed? Not many people are doing it through ebay. I feel like this should be a semi-exciting time (I'm actually going to be taking the MCATs???), but this is more just stressing me out than anything (what if I can't get all of the materials that I need??).

Thanks for any advice..
Joshua

I bought them from SDN. I lucked out as there was a good seller with like 200 posts. I emailed him and gauged that he was reliable, then used paypal to cover my a77. It worked out fine, and I got a perfectly unused set of books.

I bought via the TBR website, Amazon, etc. It seemed like most SDN users WAY overcharged for their stuff.

Dark back-alley. Man in trenchcoat.

"You got the money?"

"You got the stuff?"

Payed for EK materials with cold hard cash.
