how did you get to NOVA from FLL?

i have a hotel booked 1 mile from FLL airport. I called the bus line and they said it would take around an hour/lots of transferring to get to the school. I know a cab would cost $60 to and from my hotel and the school.


How did you people who already interviewed with NOVA get there?

NOVA is only a few miles from the airport, but it took me like 15 mins to get there because of traffic. I actually rented a car...it cost me 50 something dollars. 60 for a cab seems like a lot, so try renting a car if you can, then you can explore the area a little too. Good luck at the interview!

Fort Lauderdale airport actually offers a Ride service, I forget exactly what its called but I found it on Hotels.com when I was booking my room, but this did only take me to and from the airport but it was only $30 for both trips. I took a cab from my hotel to the school and that was only $12.00 because I found a hotel that was close enough to the school...so just find a place thats close enough and call a cab, there are tons of hotels in the area close by! I definately don't think that a cab would cost that much to the airport though, its really nearby but there is a lot of traffic. I suggest staying at least one night, I stayed two because I wanted to make sure I would give myself pleanty of time to be ready and not have to worry about missing and delayed flights....good luck!

You should've received a list of hotels with the interview info (at least we did last year). In it, there's suggested hotels. The one I stayed at picks up and drops off at both the airport AND the school. They depart for the airport about every 15 minutes I think, and you request for the school. The shuttle is free. Good Luck!

take I-75 south then find University drive i think. its a 20 min drive from ft lauderdale airport.
