Since i'm procrastinating from studying for finals, i figured another thread was in order. In your opinion, how difficult was getting into dental school?

Using the fruit scale of difficulty, with cherry being the easiest and kiwi being the hardest, I'd have to say...banana.

I got more interviews than expected, but most of them are late interviews. So far I have one accptance, and it is my number 1 choice.

Well, I got in to about 4 more schools then I expected, so that's what I checked. But that doesn't really account for the grey hairs I got worrying about getting accepted...

on the fruit scale my cycle has been an apple. a rotten one. with worms and stuff. and it's a brown apple, not an attractive one at all. i wouldn't eat it.

I got into every school that I applied to, but getting all of the letters together and writing all kinds of stuff about myself and studying hard for the DAT for those three weeks were all pretty tough.

I was sick during the month that I studied for the DAT which made it even harder. If I had to do it all over again I'd take the DAT in early January before even worrying about getting my letters, shadowing, and application together.

Congrats Aggie. SA is a great school. 🙂
