i just submitted my primary today. one of my letters wont be done until the middle of october. am i screwed? this is pretty late for MD schools but DO schools seem to have way extended deadlines for primaries (like april for western?) anyways, i know its better to get it in early, and i have a pretty good idea that i am damn late for allo, but not sure for osteo. i am guessing its pretty much the same, or maybe the fact that some primaries are due so late that ppl dont apply as early... at least i am hoping?

stats are: 3.3 overall 3.2 bcpm
mcat: 32

hoping for touroMI or western

ackkk, meant to post on pre-osteo. wow, i guess u cant delete threads. oh well, i guess input for MS' would also be helpful.

Hi ~
I actually didn't apply to schools till VERY late - around December/January 2005 - and I was accepted to the Chicago College of Osteopathic medicine around late May ... so you're still pretty early in the game - even in mid October - I wouldn't push it much later than that if you don't have to though. You'll be fine!

It's still relatively early in the game - you'll be fine (plus, half the other applicants took the MCAT less than a week ago)

No worries, I didn't get secondaries into school until March! And I got in by May, so don't sweat it. You have better chances the earlier you send stuff in, but if your app is strong, don't fret!

I finished submitting all my application materials in November, got interviewed late January and found out three days later that I got in.

better get the applications in. the seats in the classes fill up fast!!
