How do ADCOMS view DAT Retakes???

I just recently retook the DAT and I am happy with my scores but I am becoming a little bit nervous because my first attempt wasn't the best. I wanted to get some opinions on how AdComs view DAT retakes. Do they emphasize the most recent? Higher scores? Average the two together? My oGPA is 3.58 and sci GPA is 3.55. All opinions are welcome, thanks for the feedback.

Two admissions directors that I have talked to specifically mentioned that higher DAT scores would strengthen my application. I believe it will be looked on favorably if higher scores were acquired. I do remember reading on some school websites that some schools will look at both scores while others will look at the most recent.

As you know I also retook the DAT so maybe my opinion is a little one sided but I think that it will only be looked on favorably.

I'm hoping that we'll be interviewing at LSU this fall!

I don't think anyone would hold it against you for retaking, especially when you've improved...a lot. I'm pretty sure they can see all of your attemepts, even if they say they only take the most recent into consideration.

BRAVO, now that is what Adcoms want to see. Look at that improvement!.

You went from a 19 in TS to a 25! as well as a 4 point improvement on your AA. You're good to go my friend. The only minor thing is your RC but i'm sure only some top schools want a high RC of at least 20. Great work!
