How do Adcoms view projected volunteer hours?

I'm currently volunteering as a hospice caregiver and as a sorter in a non-clinical organization. I plan to apply during the 2019 cycle. Will adcoms only care about the hours that I will accrue up until I submit my app? Or will they consider projected hours that extend to possibly Jan 2020?

Future hours are a signal of your intentions, not a promise of completion. Be sure to differentiate between completed and potential hours in some way on the application. Update letters (where allowed) and interview conversations are ways to let adcomms know of progress made toward completing anticipated hours.

The difference between I worked out today and I “might” workout today. It may not happen
