Take western for example.

English requirement is 9 quarter credits. At my school (UCI), each standard course is 4 units per quarter. Does that mean I'll be 1 credit short if i take two English courses, and I'll have to take another 4 unit class?

How about anatomy and biochem for example. It says 6 quarter credits is required, but my school does it by 4 units (4 credit hours per aadsas). Where am I supposed to get the other two?

Some schools require 5 quarter credits, some schools require 6 quarter credit units for prereqs like microbiology. I mean... what...?

Hi, check the pre-req database for your school to see which classes qualify for your English requirement.

As far as biochem, certain schools will consider molecular biology as part of biochemistry if it is a separate class. I remembered that my friend told me this last year when one of the schools told him that his molecular biology class counted as biochemistry, too. 🙂 As far as micro, I think maybe they are referring to lab as well? Not sure.
