How do dual activity roles work?

Suppose that you are doing an extracurricular activity such as building robots in robotics club and you are the president. You have to do activities where you were simultaneously fulfilling both roles. How do you sort that out on AMCAS?

List it as "Robotic Club"; talk about your roles i.e. building robots, competing, and being president. The slots on AMCAS don't discriminate based solely on roles you held; the sort by activity.

I'd say leadership trumps club membership and you should list it under leadership.
