How do I begin studying for Step 1?

I am a second year medical student and haven't started prepping at all yet, I have just been focusing on my classes. I plan to start reviewing a bit over winter break and my school gives us 7 weeks of dedicated study time.

I am completely ignorant on how to prep.

Can I just use my notes from class to study off and a question bank like UWorld?

I have first aid but it doesnt seem very helpful to me.

First Aid is a reference guide, something that tells you what to study. Compare your notes with FA and fill in anything that is missing. Then you can spend the rest of that 7 weeks doing questions and REVIEWING (not learning new material for the first time).
