How do I find out if I passed my Step 2 CS?

I didn't recieve a email or score report information in oasis2.ecfmg.org. I took the test in mid November at Chicago. Is oasis where they report scores or is there any other website where they post CS results?

I'm very worried because my top choice program said they will rank me but only if I pass my CS before they do their rank list which is only a week or two away! If I failed (I don't see how I could have, I practiced very well and did everything I was supposed to), I fear programs won't rank me on the match. Is this true?

I keep checking oasis and my email every half hour, but Im not sure if they only release scores once a week so there would be no point in me checking it till next Wed? Is this how reporting works?

If you're an AMG, you can access https://apps.nbme.org/ciw2/prod/jsp/login.jsp, which will hopefully at least show that you've taken the exam. I know of no way that you can actually speed up the process though...

At least for AMGs, the NBME sends an e-mail out saying that your report will be posted at 11 AM EST.

The scores are usually reported every Wednesday in the reporting period.

It is odd that the exam date is blank. You may need to call the NBME about that.

Thank you for the NBME link. It does show that I took my exam but that the score report date is blank.

It says that 98-99% of exam takers get their results within the first three days of the reporting period. If they only do score reports once a week, shouldn't it instead say that 98-99% of exam takers get their score on the first day ofthe reporting period since no one is given results on the second or third day?

So is there even anypoint to me checking for my score before next Wed?

Do residency programs not rank students just because their CS score hasn't come in yet, or if they didn't pass the CS yet. Thank you so much.

I'm no expert, but I think they report them each Wednesday of the reporting period. Could be wrong. You will receive an e-mail about your score report being available at 11 AM EST usually. You can check daily if you want.

Certain programs do have requirements for passing Step 2 (CK + CS) before ranking. MOST programs do not, but you have to check with the specific program for information. If you are dealing with a program that requires it, you should contact them with the above link saying that your score might not be released until next Wednesday. Programs and applicants have to certify their ROL by the third week in February... but some programs will certify their ROL perhaps as early as this week. Whatever the case, would be proactive about this if you have a program that requires it.
