How do I get the AAMC tests?

Hey everyone. I'm starting my Kaplan review course on June 5th, and I know that they will give a diagnostic test and some other tests later on. But I've been reading through this forum and alot of people take the AAMC tests, I guess 3-8. I was wondering where do you get these tests and how much do they cost total? Do people sell them on EBAY? Thanks alot in advance.

Do not buy from EBAY. Chances are, you will walk into a fraud/trap, and you will wind up with the practice tests but no answers / conversion charts.

Try to focus on the more recent ones. You will notice they conveniently batch the old, outdated practice tests into the more affordable package 😡

E-bay is a good source for reasonably priced material that will increase in price the closer it gets to the test date. Read the material offered by the seller, and if you have any questions as to the content, ask the seller a question. All of the material that I received from E-bay and half.com were OK.

kaplan provides aamc tests 3-8...you'd have to take them at a center, b/c of copyright stuff. just ask your center manager! and yes, it's a VERY good idea to take aamc stuff along w/ kaplan tests..you'll get well-rounded prep

How good are the aamc practice tests? They are a bit pricey for $40 a pop. I've been told that these contain retired questions so the concern is that they may be a out of date, especially the older ones.

supposedly the best indicators of your score on the mcat...i'll let you know after june 15 🙂

Correct. PDF files are printable and better because you can save them on your desktop and reprint them if you want to retake the test, should have to retake the real thing or should you want to see how you would do with having had more studying
