So, I took my first DAT on 2/6.
I’m planning to do a retake 5/30-6/3 ish.

Can I still request a dentpin even though six-months has not been passed since getting the first dentpin?
If I can get the dentpin, then I willbe able to register for a test?

Thanks!

Based on the 2017 DAT Guide provided by the ADA, "Once you have a DENTPIN®, you can submit a DAT application from ADA.org/DAT. A new application must be submitted each time you wish to take the DAT." This suggests that you do not need to create a new DENTPIN. Instead, you must submit a new application. As far as the time period, the guide says, "Applicants are required to submit a new application and fee for each retest. Applicants must wait at least 90 days from their last attempt, before retaking the DAT; there are no exceptions to the 90-day waiting period." Since you took your first DAT on 2/6, it wouldn't be a problem to retake on 5/30. Hope this helps...Good luck!

Thank you! I should just resubmit the application then.
