I have 5 weeks left until my exam. I keep getting 19s and 18s on practice exams in Bootcamp. I'm finding destroyer to be too difficult and I have done all of bootcamp's problems outside of their practice exams. Is there a resource out there with a bunch of problems that reflect the actual difficulty of the DAT? I don't want to waste any more of my bootcamp tests until I have a stronger foundation.

Yo i just took my dat and got a 19aa. Sure i know kids that have used DATbootcamp and have done well, but this is once in a moon. But what you are being tested on isn’t “high yield” to what you will be tested on on the DAT.
I really recommend DATdestroyer. although you may find it difficult, it will accommodate you very highly for your exam day. I did bootcamp the first two time, made 16s twice. Did DATdestroyer through and through and made 19aa 24bio 20/20 both chems and i made a bad math score that’s why i my aa is that low. But math was a hard concept for me. Do the destroyer. All of it. Even though some things may be difficult to you, make sure you understand the concepts. If Dr Romano ask Qs about blood flow a lot, well then you know you will definitely have blood flow on your test.

Literally no ****. His notes are so good. He makes you learn it rather than memorize it. Memorizing stuff takes time. Learning concepts (like a story) is easy and rememberable. Bootcamp notes are straight facts.

I highly recommend going through DATdestroyer orgoman dynamite notes and then going through each bio problem. Gen chem and orgo will come to you. But it’ll take time. Just keep at it kid and i swear you will get the score you want. Use the most efficient resources that aren’t easy. Easy gets you no where. You want it hard.

Just bc you can’t answer it doesn’t mean it’s too hard, it means you need more practice and don’t know the concept well enough.

Goodluck my friend. Destroyer the DAT. PUN INTENDED #DATDESTROYER

I have to agree with @iliketeeth1995. I'm a super strong advocate for the Destroyer--I owe it and the Math Destroyer my life for my scores. Please do not use BC as an indication of how you will score on test day. If you don't have the concepts down, which the Destroyers DEFINITELY hammer into your head, you're on track to have a bad time come test day. Those foundations are incredibly important, and the Destroyer gets those down plus some.

I personally went through both the general and Math Destroyers at least two times through each section to get those questions and concepts drilled into my head. Trying to get representative questions for the exam will get you nowhere really, because no one can predict what you will see on the exam. The concepts are what you need, and the Destroyers will get those down.

I highly recommend Dr. Romano's Biology notes as well. They cover everything you need to know for BIO and more. Plus, all of this will save you money going forward. If you have any specific questions, please let me know--I'd be glad to help. My breakdown has my description of how I utilized all of these resources if you think you would find it useful.
