Long time lurker here, so this is my first post on SDN!
First and foremost shout out to Chad's Videos, Bootcamp and Dat Destroyer for being the best resources i have ever used!! Had i known they were so effective, i wouldnt have dropped $2000 for my Kaplan course . Eff me right? I know. But here are my scores, i know im definitely under the bar for QR and PAT (ran out of time on QR AND PAT)... but how are my chances?
My CUM GPA is 3.3 and my SCI GPA is 3.4
AA/TS/OC/GC/BIO/RC/QR/PAT
22/23/23/27/21/23/23/18/17

You have an amazing AA but a low PAT. Some schools have a cutoff at 17-18 for some sections of the DAT so it may limit where you apply.

Congratulations excellent scores, you scored high where it counts! Love the science and reading scores..You Destroyed it.. Depending on the school I think you should get several interviews with these scores..Where are you applying?

Thank you!! Maybe it's a stretch... but I'm really hoping to get interviews in Cali. My top 5 would be 1. Western, 2. USC, 3. UCLA, 4. UOP, 5. UCSF (hail mary choice, but whatever if the cubs can win '16 world series...). Midwestern would be 1st choice out of state, then Texas A&M, still deciding on whether or not to pick more OOS schools because of my low QR/PAT.. I'm banking on the fact that I'm a better at telling the AdComs who I am as a person than how my GPA/DAT reflects.

I haven't done my research for OOS yet, but any recomendations? I knew about Midwestern because my girlfriend's cousin that goes there says that their facility is brand spanking new with all the new gadgets and whatnot. But I have no idea what to look for in an OOS school.

Nice scores! I will say, UCLA looks very closely at the PAT for their admissions. They had a 21 average (highest in the country) for the PAT section a few years ago, so that's something they take seriously.... Not saying its not possible, but definitely something to think about.

Sigh.. i figured, thanks for the info. LA was definitely one of my hail mary's. I wont keep my hopes up for it

Your scores are awesome! I wouldn't retake it. There are some schools that weigh the PAT more heavily, but you're still above all the cutoffs I know. Congratulations!

I like your attitude, if you get the interview I feel certain you can use your positive attitude along with your great scores to convince them to pick you. I honestly think all schools you mentioned are possible.

Yeah i really wanted to put it out there that these resources were a much better way than wasting all that money on a prep course... still really bitter.
