I just started a new research project and I didn't include it in my ADDSAS application, how is it possible to let the Dental schools know that I am doing this research? Can you talk about this stuff during the interview? Any feed backs are appreciated.

I was suggested to bring it up during the interview( from friends who are dental students already).. i just recently had a publication, worked hard on it..i think it would be worth mentioning for you too... 🙂

How about writing a letter that lists the new activity directed to the individuals dental schools? Don't know if this is acceptable or not.

I guess you filled out your secondaries where you could have mentioned this?

Thanks everyone for your suggestion. I have sent out most of the secondaries, and I have one more left I don't know if it is appropriate to list my research experience for a schoos that focuses a lot on community service. Also, the essay is about Why do you wanna attend our school. But I might try to mention it during the interview.
peace

As the hypothetical adcomm member, I wouldn't really want to know if you're doing research, but I would want to know if your interest in research is part of your professional pursuit of dentistry. If I were at a research-oriented D-school, I'd want to know if you know anything about the research at my institution and whether you want to continue research at my school.

If you are close to publishing a paper (it was accepted for publication), I'd wait until I could potentially list it on a resume to give to an adcomm interviewer as your personal update.
