How do neurosurgeons train for complex surgeries like Hemispherectomies, twin separations, brainstem tumors, etc?

I'm not a surgeon, but I'll take a flyer (although you signed up expressly for SDN to ask this question, so, maybe I'm the fool): it's an apprenticeship situation. You train with others that are more experienced. This is a time-honored way of medical education. Graduated responsibility is granted as time goes on.

Agree training with senior surgeons but you can also do cadaver procedures.
