How do pharmacy schools accept students?

Do they accept someone and then if that person doesn't accept that acceptance, would they accept the person that wasn't considered above the original applicant for acceptance?

Thanks, and do you get a higher position on the waitlist if you applied earlier or if your stats are better? Like say, someone applies late but their stats are good, would they be placed on a waitlist higher than a person who applied earlier and lower stats?

They rank their waitlist. It all depends on how much they like you. I'm sure each school has their own preferred way of deciding waitlist rankings.
