I've seen a few questions about them in TPR, so i'm wondering if i have the right understanding of them. When a precipitate forms the voltage goes to zero and oxidations make the solution more acidic, while reductions make it more basic. Are there any more principles of these that I should know?
Would using a strong oxidizing agent be equivalent to titrating in acid? and a strong reducing agent be equivalent to reducing in base?
