How do schools allocate interviews?

My friend and I both got responses from the same school on the same day to come for an interview....
My friend got an interview for Oct 15 and I got Nov 1
We both e-submitted within the same week and I mailed my application check first.
Why did my friend receive an earlier interview? How do Schools allocate interview dates for applicants?

joking aside, it could as as simple as they just ran out of interview spots by the time they got to your app. what matters is you both got invited and isn't that the "beautiful" thing ?? 🙂

I don't know how they determine the order of interviews, just be glad you have an appointment. Furthermore, you should be happy for your friend and that there is a possibility you could attend the same dental school. Remember, the most important thing right now is that you get accepted. Focus on your interview and how you are going to deal with the questions they'll be asking. Don't sweat the small stuff and GOOD LUCK to you and your friend!

That's probably true. I have yet to meet a dentist that's not good looking.

How are we supposed to know? Seriously...they pick who they pick, when they pick. One would assume that they would pick their top candidates from the list first, don't you think?

hahahha....they ask for the 2X2 for the class photo....they will compile all the pix and show you your classmates during orientation....then they'll take another photo of you all together in scrubs most likely 🙂
