Let's say a SOM sends out II in waves (i.e. one day will email assignments for each weekend in August; a few weeks later an email will go out for September dates) and the interview dates are assigned (no ability to choose between 2-3 dates) -- is there a methodology that they use to assign dates? Do they send the first round to candidates whose applications really stood out, or are assignments completely random?
