how do u indent the 1st paragraph of the personal statement?

Was anyone able to do it? Everytime I try, I go back to my personal statement just to see the the indent was lost. I don't really know if it matters but it's just bugging me. It makes my essay look weird...

I didn't change the formatting. I just left it as it is after seeing that it didn't indent i figured they want it as it is.

btw youre just NOW doing that? it's really late to be esubmitting now.

i differentiated the paragraphs with a space in between each paragraph. that way, it saved me characters and made the paragraphs stand out better.

I know I'm really really late, I'm so disappointed in myself cuz I thought I would've had this all done months ago. Oh well, we'll see what happens... Wish me luck! And thanks for the suggestions!
