A vast majority of my ECs and activities on my primary are involved with minority groups in both clinical and non clinical settings. In cases where its not obvious unless explicitly stated (also a majority of my activities), how do we incorporate this into the description. For basically all of mine, I start with something along the lines of "X organization is a group that serves [disadvantaged/underprivileged/neglected minority] communities by offering Y services". Is this the way to do it or is it too on the nose?

The best description you can give is one that is concise yet still thorough. This accomplished that.

This is the way to do it
But doing that for almost EVERY description? At times it feels like pandering and makes me feel like I'm giving the impression that I only did these activities because I wanted bonus points for working with disadvantaged communities (which is not the case)

So mix it up, you dont have to used every term in every description. Create a consistent, easily seen pattern that shows the evidence by using one or two of the terms in every appropriate activity. Then in essays, either secondary or PS, you can reference your strong and clear evidence of working with these groups.

disadvantaged community
underprivileged
neglected minority
discriminated groups
marginalized populations
stigmatized class

Am I just having a stroke or is "discriminated groups" not grammatically correct? Im thinking like "discriminated-against groups" or "groups facing discrimination". Or my brain is just not functioning right before coffee =)

Do ADCOMs care about one off little “maybe that is a grammar error” type stuff?
