During my interview, I have noticed that my interviewers love to ask me something along these lines:

What is your biggest concern about Med School?
What do you feel will be the hardest thing about practicing in rural medicine?
What do you feel will the hardest thing about med school?

Actually, I am not too concerned about medical school being too hard . .. because everything is a life experience kind of thing and its meant to shape me up to be the best kind of person I can be. I always feel like whenever you are taking up something, of course its going to be hard at first because you won't know how to "work the ropes", but then you learn from your experiences, you learn to adapt kind of thing. Initially, my undergrad was very hard, but I became a pro by my second year in college so I think med school will be the same way

If I were to answer along those lines .. . is that really bad?

Please please please help me!
Thanks

Youre not really answering any of the questions though.. In my mind, they want an honest opinion about what you think you will struggle with and how you will deal with that struggle. I imagine they wont be too happy if you admit that your first year will just be a transition year where you struggle and finally get the hang of it your second year.. But I could be wrong

That isn't answering what they are asking. That is somewhat of a "my biggest weakness is how perfect I am" type of response. For example, when asked, my answer was balancing my family with the time demand of medical school. Since I have a wife and son, I don't have all the free time available that the single traditional medical student has, so my biggest challenge would be (and has been) balancing being a father and husband at the same time as being a medical student.

They want you to actually answer the question, not give some "it won't be too hard because" response.

Those are great answers!!

Have some faith in yourself!
