What kind of approach do you usually take when answering this question?

Do you tell a kind of sob story that shows personality and development?

Or do you write a more generic response like I think a, b, and c of this school would be a good fit for me, and I would be interested in participating in x, y, and z programs?

Curious to hear which way you guys used.

I look at what aspects of the school really interest me, mention them, and then connect it to anything similar I've done so far in my life.

Uconn- medical curriculum, whole body approach that dentistry is moving towards. oral health is starting to considered an insight on total health.

UB: extremely community oriented, not only do they do global out reaches, but they focus a lot on buffalo and surrounding areas. small class size

Theres always something unique on the website

Hi Da Mighty,
Take whichever approach helps you show your school that you are qualified to enroll, you have some unique value to add to their campus, and that attending will help you go make some change in the world. You can use whatever tone/ approach you want, but even if you tell a story makes sure it is authentic.
