You take a training class for 1-2 years right? then you take the board exam or whatever like a driver liscense test and when you pass, an office like the RMV just give you your pharmacy tech liscense like your driver liscene?

Check your state licensing board. It varies considerably from state-to-state. Most programs I've heard take 6 months or less, I wouldn't take any program aside from the ones offered at leading drug chains though. If you are taking a 1-2 year program... then I have some swampland in Florida I would love to sell you.. cheap.

Is it possible to pass the test without taking any training program?
