How do you convert a newman projection to a fischer projection?

Quick question.

Is there a simple way on how to convert newman to fischer projections to determine R/S?

I found this very helpful for converting Newman to Fischer. However, you don't really need to convert to Fischer just to determine R/S, as long as you can visualize the molecule in 3D in your head.
