How do you deal with lack of motivation and procrastination?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
have you always been like this? are your parents ambitious people? Have you undergone any kind of discouraging stress recently? I need a patient history.

1. Remove your window and proceed to break it into small shards. Fill your tub and dump in lots of ice cubes.
2. Add the shards into tub. Take off clothes. Lie in tub.
3. Take a 10 minute walk down the block. Stop when you see a red fire hydrant.
4. Sit on fire hydrant. Force down until your shoulders are level with top of fire hydrant.

Very funny! :S

I am having the worse headache of my life!

The issue can be solved in two steps:

1. Identify the distraction
2. Get rid of it: dont put up with it... get rid of it (assuming you can)

For example, if its your phone, leave it at home and go to the library. Your computer, use public computers. Or you can download app: http://visitsteve.com/made/selfcontrol/

Haven't tried it with UWorld but worked like a charm through the year.

And if all else fails, take a break and before you start again (plan your next break).

You rock!

Let me give it a shot: this is arguably the most important test of your life. It is 99% up to you how well or poorly you do on it. If you mess it up, you could cut your options down to the point that you'll be doing family medicine in Arkansas, and not the nice part near the Clinton library.
Quit being a *****

Don't encourage him! We don't need any more competition. Nex thing we know, he would be back here posting stuff like "I just took NBME15 while in the restroom during my plane ride, got 265. How do I get to 275?"
