How do you handle administration ofchemo medications with non-chemo indications?

If a chemo medication, such as Imuran, is given for a non-chemo indication (such as, arthritis, colitis, crohn's dz), how does your hospital handle it? Do you have to follow all policy and procedures to handle chemo agents? Or Can you by pass it? I'm saying this because our hospital doesn't usually have a chemo certified RN to adminster chemo drugs (because we stop admitting chemo patients).

They'll still follow all proper precautions, but as far as I know, it isn't a certified chemo nurse administering the medications. All other procedures are followed (paper trail, chemotherapy bag, preparation log, etc.).
