How do you pick your school?

This is probably a stupid question but how do you pick the final school you're gonna be attending? I know you have to notify the AAMC or something, so is this done through the AAMC website, or do you just call your school and tell them you've made your final decision? Do you have to notify the other schools you won't be attending as well?

You just have to withdraw your acceptances from all schools except one by May 15th. How you notify each school is school dependent. Some schools require snail mail letters and others accept e-mail notification. You don't have to notify AMCAS.
