Hello everyone..

How does everyone read their review books? do you just start reading first aid, Step up, crush without notes and such, or do people do the med-school 'skim'?

How many hours and days does it take to get through the review books, I feel like it's hard to retain the itty-bitty details until I see it again, but fear I may not have time for a second go around.

Good luck to everyone:xf:

I read it in detail. My theory is that a review book is already condensed, no sense in my skimming them for a more superficial look. A textbook, I skim. Of course, you have to get a good review book. FA, Step up, or especially Crush ain't them. When I read them, there's also such a huge variation in detail. I mean, Crush is a pamphlet... Anyway, I read review stuff in detail and skim texts. I take notes in the margins and highlight as I go...looks trashed after I'm done but it works for me!

thanks for the replies.

in general though how long should it take one to read through a chapter of Step up Med (about 50 pages or so), if they are trying to read "it in detail/not skim"?

FA seems to read faster.

good luck
