Hello PPL

I just recently took the DAT for the 1st time...and i did pretty bad for Texas standards(below 18)...the materials I used were developed by Kaplan...but it seemed like the DAT was a lot different than what I was used to seeing with Kaplan...I find it very difficult to study during the semester with 5 upper level science classes! I just want to know if anyone knows some helpful tips on how you or anyone you know may have studied for the DAT and if it helped to boost your score...at this point im desperate to get into dental school and I REALLY need to do well (>21 well)!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Thanks

I actually thought the Kaplan materials helped a lot. Maybe you are just studying wrong. Study in small periods, not 6 hrs at a time. Review your intro biology text (entire), as well as gen chem and orgo. Study the areas you scored lowest on, as well as many practice tests (Topscore, etc). I dunno what will work for you, but try to figure that out.
