How do you guys study RC, do you guys know any useful strategies??
and what are the dominant types of the questions of RC?
more detail asking questions or broad, general questions??

Please help!

I studied reading comprehension by reading the news every day, and reading books for fun. The questions are mostly asking for specific details in the text.

My strategy was to read through the text at a steady pace I felt comfortable with, and understand the main points of every paragraph. I didn't bother trying to memorize any details or facts, I just got the main gist of the passage. Then I went through the questions and for each question I would go back and find the answer in the text. If I felt like I was spending too much time searching for an answer I guessed, starred the question and moved on. I ended up finishing with 10 minutes left, which gave me ample time to go back and review the starred questions.

I took it twice. One time, the section asked for the english words for the tone of the passage, dogmatic, etc. Try and look up those fancy prose words and apply them to the feel of the passage, you might get that DAT that doesn't actually ask you about the passage, but asks you to describe the overall wording of it. That stunk.

I only used Achiever for RC prep. Achiever was similar in question format, but the DAT gave you a few more layups and the passages were shorter. Achiever is good, and it doesn't hurt to read for leisure.
