How do you tie your scrub pants?

useless topic here but I'm curious

how do you tie your scrub pants?

do you prefer to tie it in a similar fasion to a shoe lace?

or do you tie it into a nice bow?

or perhaps you were a boyscout or girlscout and can make a nice tight knot

or are you a martial artist and decide to tie it in a similar fashion to an obi (the belt in martial arts)

just curious on the possible variations =)

oh, and if you have stories about scrub pants falling down due to bad knots, all the better 🙂

I tie my scrubs as I do my shoelaces - and on occassion, like my shoelaces, the knots come untied. More often its the weight of my pagers and cell phone that pull them down.

Of course, its not nearly as interesting as the time when one of the Ortho residents stood on the Trauma bed to reduce a dislocated hip and his pants fell down. Best night on trauma yet! 😉

I use the 2-handed tie -w/ at least 6 knots .
