Hi,

So I've taken enough credits now to be awarded a bio degree, I have decided to go ahead and apply for it (for myself really) but am wondering how does this look to adcoms, or is it basically a wash? Will they just see the large amount of postbacc credits as equivalent?

Should I explicitly mention it anywhere or will it be obvious? they will receive the application before I actually am awarded the degree.

Thanks

Since I'm in the same boat, I'm hoping good but I'm curious as well.

According to AMCAS that stuff all appears under 'post-bacc' but whether or not it matters to an ADCOM, who is to say?

Everything I've seen and heard suggests than an extra degree can't hurt, but that it doesn't do anything special for your application.

Equivalent to a second major = no net benefit or harm.

Would pulling two degrees simultaneous in undergrad look impressive? Curious to know that case.

impressed me, ned! to get another bachelors after leaving industry takes gumption. but what do I know... 🙂
