I interviewed at NOVA and I think Im probably getting in. But Im wondering since its a new school, how does it compare with the others? The facility is nice and all, but does anybody know anything about how good their program is?
thanks
Shouldn't you have asked all your questions during your interview with us? You've had many opportunities during your interview to have all your doubts and questions addressed....during your tour, during your actual interview when they asked you "do you have any questions?"!
If you don't ask questions while you were here at NSU-CDM when you had current students and faculty at your disposal, then do you really think that you'll get better answers when you come online?
To all other predents, if you have doubts and questions about a school and you were invited for an interview, use that opportunity to have your doubts and questions answered while you are there! That is your chance! You should walk out of an interview knowing more about a school when you had walked in. An interview is a two way street. You don't go to an interview and save/bottle all your questions and then come on an online forum to hope to have all your questions answered. Not a good source.
When I sat down and spoke to an interview group of 7, I made sure that addressed all their questions and concerns from NBDE Part 1 passing rate, our clinic exposure, state licensure passing rate, social life, specialty placement, patient pool, school's philosophy, and living options. All 7 pre-dent applicants loved it. Again, it's your responsibility to have all your questions addressed during your interviews.
I can see if you had questions because you haven't been here for an interview, but for me to hear a students asking idiotic questions here online about any schools while they could've had their answers during their interviews, just freaking blows me away!
In any case, if you really wanted online answers, then do a search on NOVA using the search tool for crying out loud! There are a lot of threads about NSU-CDM, be a proactive student instead of passive!
