I did BS and MS in Computer Science, and worked in IT for nearly 15 years.

Now I'm interested in pursuing Medicine to teach and for further research (hoping to combine it with Computer Science)

Currently I work full-time and read one can take pre-med courses entirely online.

I'm just wondering, how would you get hands-on lab experience with online courses.

Many/ most med schools do not accept online coursework. Your source of truth for this will be MSAR: Med School Admissions Requirements.

Lots of threads on this topic already too. I just extensively replied here:
Nontrad low GPA...MD or PA?

I enrolled in (and later dropped) an online bio course. Some of the thing were online, such as a pig dissection (just a website). Other things were going to require me to buy stuff and construct my own wet lab. I think for simple tasks such as culturing bacteria. Etc.

Cheers
