How does the academic update work?

I believe it starts mid-November and ends in February.
If you were to send in your transcript with summer marks asap in November, does AADSAS mail out these new marks right away or do they wait until February?
Can they send it out twice - once again after you get your first semester marks in January?

if i remember correctly, u only update it once and it's only sent out once.

Yeah, if you want to update your summer and fall grades, you will have to wait until your fall grades are released b/c you can only take advantage of the Academic Update period one time.

If your summer courses include pre-reqs or anything that may seem important, you can contact your schools and see if they will accept a mailed transcript with your summer grades directly to their office and they can add it to your file.

Well it was just a neurobiology course but my mark was quite high.
So why does the academic update period start so early then???
