I skimmed real quickly through the OAT and some of the questions seem manageable and then i looked at the physics and they seem rather challenging.

Is the physics on the Kaplan similar to the real OAT?

i found the physics on kaplan to be harder than the real thing...i was getting upper 200's on kaplan and got 330 on the real thing

same here, i think the best i got was a 270 on kaplan, then got 330 on the real thing. i think its because kaplan tests you on a wider range of material, where as the actual test was mostly physics 1. what i did was try to memorize a lot of the basic equations, then when you get into the test just write as many as you can remember on your scrap paper so you arent trying to remember them halfway through. but you should do better on the OAT than you are doing on kaplan

Physics on the real thing is much easier. Less calculations and more concept questions. Still tricky, must know your stuff!

The Kaplan gen chem questions seemed a little too obscure and over involved from the practice DAT I took, can anyone comment on that too?
