I intend to..

-obviously complete all premed course requirements.

-try and get into a couple honor societies and perhaps take a couple honors courses.

My main EC's will be:

- volunteer EMT for a year

- do research for the following year

-try to shadow over the summers

-study like hell for the MCAT and be proactive for all things leading up to acceptance into the med school of my choice

I know this seems like a very general overview, but i just wanted to think out loud and see if anyone here had any advice for me before i put it all into action

My advice would be... Add some variety to your EC's. Try and find some things that aren't so common. Also, try to gain some leadership experience in these organizations.

snowboarding in jersey isnt the best, but in northern jersey like vernon, its actually pretty good.

Sounds like another "Just add water" pre-med... Variety is the spice of life. You'd be good to do something less typical.
