How early do applicants tend to get interviews for Med School?

I was just wondering. I planning on submitting my application pretty early, like within a month, and just wanted to know how early people got interviews.

My first interview was in late August. I received the invitation to interview the first week of August.

I also received my first interview during the first week of August, but I remember people getting invited before I did.

Schools generally start sending out interview invites in early to mid August for September dates. There are some exceptions (Texas schools, I believe, send out invites in July, but you'd be applying to them separately anyway), but that's the general rule. Schools generally like to solidify the incoming class before they worry about interview invitations.
