like the title says, how early should I apply for reg admin?
  • If the deadline is Dec 3rd, when should I send my app?
  • What are the advantages of applying early? ( not ED), disavantages( if any) ..I mean, admissions often say that they review each person's app after the deadline and none before.
so really and truly from the people who really know, what are the benefits of applying early to regular admission? no speculations.. facts please, thanks😍

In general, applying early is better even for the regular admissions school as it means that you are more likely to get an interview offer that is sooner and perhaps a quicker acceptance/rejection. You would have more time during your spring semester/quarters to plan for the next year rather than waiting on a decision in March (cough.....cough....like me....cough...cough). You also allow yourself time to prevent any mail errors from ruining your application.

I can't think of any disadvantages as true regular admission schools don't review applications until at least December, so it's not like they'll reject you early without considering new PCAT scores and your fall grades.

This post is as factual as I can make it based on my conversations with adcoms last year.
